Foundation Priorities

The Kadar Foundation for the Advancement of Culture, Art and Science was founded in 2021 by Dr. Avraham Kadar. Our work  promotes creative expression and dialogue around complex social issues through exposure to art and cinema, and encourages awareness, caring and positive communication to promote Israeli heritage, existence and hope.

Supporting Israeli Creativity

The Foundation supports original Israeli creations and awards grants and prizes to artists who have made a significant contribution to Israeli culture. We strive to elevate the Israeli story in its various layers and to strengthen Israeli heritage and values.

Education

The Kadar Foundation seeks to reduce socio-economic gaps in Israeli society by investing in accessible artistic and cultural education, with a special emphasis on the country’s geographic periphery.
